The British Compressed Air Society (BCAS) state that each year in Great Britain there are on average 150 dangerous occurrences of which about six result in fatal or serious injury. Evidently, working with compressed air can pose great risk to staff that work with it, and they must be provided with the tools and knowledge to work safely.
In this Compressed Air Safety Training course, we cover what compressed air is, why it’s used, what makes it so dangerous, and what responsibilities both employers and employees have.
